There are both direct trains and airport buses from Arlanda airport to Uppsala Central Station (both a bus and train station). During the day, buses and trains depart twice an hour. Please see the following links:

If you come from the north on E4:

Turn at the exit “Uppsala södra”. Follow the road (282) straight ahead until you come to the large roundabout near IKEA. At this roundabout, continue straight through (this will be the second right) so that the shopping center will be on your right. Continue following Kungsängsleden over the river and up the hill to the traffic light at the crossing at Dag Hammarskjölds väg. Turn right onto Dag Hammarskjölds väg. Pass straight through the next roundabout. About 400 meters straight ahead on the right are Uppsala Science Park’s yellow buildings. Use the second entrance into the area. Once inside the Science Park area, take the first left that is a road (not left into a parking lot). When you get to a T crossing, turn left and you will enter our parking lot.

If you come from the south on E4:

Follow the signs on E4 (coming from Stockholm or Arlanda Airport) towards Sundsvall.
Turn at the exit “Uppsala södra”. Follow the road straight through the first roundabout and then left in the second (follow signs with red cross signaling to the hospital). Continue following Kungsängsleden over the river and up the hill to the traffic light at the crossing at Dag Hammarskjölds väg. Turn right onto Dag Hammarskjölds väg. If you come from the west:

Drive on Luthagsesplanaden and follow it to the traffic light at the crossing ”Kyrkogårdsgatan”. Turn right and follow Kyrkogårdsgatan. It will swing left onto ”S:t Olofsgatan”. Take the first right onto Övre Slottsgatan and continue straight until it turns into Dag Hammarskjölds väg. Pass the crossing at Uppsala University Hospital (Akademiska sjukhuset). On the left hand side of the street is Uppsala Science Park (yellow buildings).  Take the first left into the area. Once inside the Science Park area, take the first left that is a road (not left into a parking lot). When you get to a T crossing, turn left and you will enter our parking lot.

If you come from the east:

If you are coming from the northeast, enter E4 going south and follow directions above (E4 from the north).  
If you are coming from the southeast enter E4 going north and follow directions above (E4 from the north).
If you are coming from the east (Edsbro/Highway 282) going west, go straight through the roundabout at E4. Continue straight through the next 2 roundabouts. Continue following Kungsängsleden over the river and up the hill to the traffic light at the crossing at Dag Hammarskjölds väg. Turn right onto Dag Hammarskjölds väg. Pass straight through the next roundabout. On the right are Uppsala Science Park’s yellow buildings. Use the second entrance into the area. Once inside the Science Park area, take the first left that is a road (not left into a parking lot). When you get to a T crossing, turn left and you will enter our parking lot.
